Instructor, Communication Forsyth Technical Community College - 4.1 Winston-Salem, NC Job Details Part-time $35.85 - $38.30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Master's degree Online instruction Classroom Teaching Full Job Description The Part-time Instructor, Communication will teach communication classes to undergraduate students. The salary range for this position is $35.85 to $38.30 per hour, based on experience and academic credentials. This position requires daytime, in-person instruction at partner high school locations within the Forsyth Technical Community College service area, including sites within Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools. The selected candidate must have consistent weekday daytime availability and be able to travel to assigned high school campuses to deliver face-to-face instruction. Flexibility to teach at multiple locations based on program needs is expected Minimum Qualifications 1. Master's Degree or higher in Communication or Master's Degree or higher in a similar field with 18 graduate hours in Communication.
Note:
Degrees and hours must be from a college accredited by a US Dept of Education accepted accrediting agency such as
SACSCOC . 2.
Successful teaching experience. 3. Ability to teach online and at various campuses. Preferred Qualifications Essential Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assume responsibility for teaching assignments as designated by the department chairperson and approved by the dean. Assume responsibility for maintaining all required College records including attendance and grade reports, roll books, etc. Compile bibliographies of specialized materials or outside reading assignments as applicable. Make recommendations to Department Chair for supplies, equipment, and equipment repairs. Construct, administer, and grade examinations. Assume responsibility for being familiar with and adhering to all policies of the College. Physical Demands
