Compensation for the science teacher position is between $58,426.00-$81,590.00 per year depending on education level, experience, and qualifications.

Position Summary:
St. Jean Baptiste High School is seeking a high school Science Teacher with a focus on Chemistry. The ideal candidate is a passionate educator with strong content knowledge and an understanding of best practices for high school science instruction. St. Jean Baptiste is an all-girls Catholic high school that has been educating students for nearly one hundred years. The school develops women of faith, service, and leadership and empowers the whole community to participate actively in the transformation of society for a more just world.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A passionate commitment to serving in an all-girls Catholic educational setting Experience with Google Classroom preferred Bachelor's degree required Prior experience teaching Chemistry preferred Experience preparing students for Regents examinations preferred Ability to foster inquiry-based and laboratory-centered learning experiences
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required Must pass a background check
