Science Instructor in Massage Program American Institute of Alternative Medicine Columbus, OH Job Details Part-time $30 - $45 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Biology Anatomy knowledge Computer literacy Bachelor of Science Massage Therapy License Bachelor's degree Working with students Full Job Description The Part-Time Science Instructor in our massage therapy program helps ensure quality instruction in the classroom experience. Two of the open courses are taught on-campus and involve using palpation in teaching. The third one is taught online with the expectation of being on campus for proctoring the mid term and final exam for each course. See below for class times. Otherwise qualified massage therapists (this position requires a BS in the biological sciences or related field) are encouraged to apply, as well as chiropractors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide classroom instruction consistent with the mission of AIAM Use technology effectively to enhance student learning. Qualifications Bachelor or higher Degree in related area (strong Anatomy & Physiology knowledge) required LMT or Chiropractor preferred Superior communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Good computer skills Commitment to a diverse and civil learning and working environment. Solid interpersonal and communication skills. Maintains professional, businesslike behavior and appearance Demonstrated commitment to customer service both to employees and students
