Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant professional to join our faculty team as a full-time instructor. This role involves classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction for our Medical Assistant program at our Maumee, OH campus. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality instruction following established curriculum and course outlines Create and maintain detailed lesson plans and grading records Provide timely feedback on student assignments (within 48 hours) Monitor student attendance, performance, and retention Hold regular office hours to support student learning Participate in required faculty meetings and professional development Maintain equipment and supplies for laboratory instruction Advise students on academic performance and program policies Contribute to a positive learning environment that supports student success Qualifications Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience as a Medical Assistant (required) Qualification dependent on program and class level Completion of an approved registered nursing education program Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to professional development and staying current in the field Previous teaching experience preferred but not required Compensation Competitive pay based on experience, knowledge, and education level Pay structure by course and/or credit hour Benefits Package (for Full-Time Employees) Comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) with company match Generous PTO plus birthday day off Employee Assistance Program Professional Development Assistance for Internal Academic Programs Benefits Package (Adjunct Employees) Professional Development Assistance for Internal Academic Programs Stautzenberger College is an Equal Opportunity Employer -
