TITLE OF POSITION
Adjunct Instructor, Introductory Physics STATUS:
Part-time, one-semester contract, with possibility of renewal
DEPARTMENT
College of Humanities and Sciences
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must be qualified to teach "Physics 101," an introductory algebra-based physics course. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced teacher who applies active student-learning methods in the classroom. Job Description
EDUCATION REQUIRED
M.A., Ph.D. (or ABD) in Physics or related field.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This Fall semester course will be offered in person on our East Falls campus: There are three available sections: TR 10.15-12.15pm, TR 8.30-10.45am and MWF 11.30-1.00pm. Classes begin on August 24 and final grades are due by December 21.
