You will play a key role in helping students re-engage with education and achieve academic and personal success. The academic focus for this position is ecology, basic biology, and health & nutrition. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver standards-based lessons aligned with Pennsylvania Academic and Career Standards Implement effective classroom management and student engagement strategies Differentiate instruction for diverse learners, including ESL and Special Education students Develop and adapt curriculum and instructional materials Assess student learning and track academic progress Integrate technology in the classroom to enhance instruction Collaborate with teachers, staff, and support services Support students' academic, social, and career development Maintain accurate records including lesson plans, attendance, and assessments Qualifications PA Teaching Certification in General Science 7-12 or Biology 7-12 (or ability to obtain emergency certification) Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
