Job Description

Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Competitive hourly contractor rate based on experience Position Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Virtual Science Teacher to provide engaging online instruction for middle and/or high school students. This part-time 1099 contractor role is ideal for educators who enjoy making science interactive and accessible in a virtual learning environment. Responsibilities Deliver live virtual science instruction in one-on-one and/or small-group settings Teach subjects including General Science, Life Science, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science Prepare and adapt instructional materials based on student needs Foster student engagement, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry Track student progress and maintain consistent communication with families and staff Qualifications Current teaching license/certification required Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or related field preferred Prior teaching, tutoring, or virtual instruction experience preferred Strong understanding of middle and/or high school science curriculum Comfortable using virtual teaching platforms and digital instructional tools Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently as a contractor #p34
