The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging science lessons and labs that align with the school's curriculum and standards. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and ensure all students are challenged and supported. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and participate. Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to make math concepts accessible and relevant to students. Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate math with other subject areas. Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress and solicit their support in their child's learning. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in math education.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in education or a related field Valid teaching license/certification. Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and curriculum standards for 6th grade. Experience teaching science at the 6th grade level, preferably in a diverse classroom setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents. Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
