$37,000 to $48,000 Position Overview The Christian School at Castle Hills is seeking a knowledgeable and faith-driven High School Science Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching science through a biblical worldview, engaging students in critical thinking, discovery, and academic excellence while fostering their spiritual growth. Key Responsibilities Teach high school science courses (may include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Integrated Science based on experience) Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards Integrate Christian faith and biblical principles into science instruction Encourage inquiry, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning in students Assess student progress and provide timely feedback on assignments and exams Maintain a structured, respectful, and Christ-centered classroom environment Communicate effectively with students, parents, and faculty regarding progress and expectations Utilize technology and lab resources to enhance learning experiences Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred) Valid teaching certification (Texas certification preferred) Previous high school teaching experience preferred Strong knowledge of science content and laboratory safety procedures Excellent classroom management and organizational skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Spiritual Expectations Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ Willingness to integrate faith into daily instruction and student interactions Commitment to uphold the Christian values, mission, and statement of faith of the school Serves as a positive Christian role model for students and the school community What We Offer A supportive and faith-centered work environment Opportunities for professional and spiritual growth Collaborative team culture Competitive salary based on experience How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume.
