Secondary Science Teacher (6th - 12th Grade) Join our mission at AFBCS! Arcadia is seeking passionate, Christ-centered educators to join our team for the upcoming school year. Our mission is to provide academic excellence in Christ-centered environment, equipping students to reach their full potential intellectually, spiritually, and socially.POSITION SUMMARY
The science teacher will implement an engaging science curriculum that explores God's creation through scientific inquiry while integrating biblical principles and a Christian worldview.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach comprehensive science curriculum across assigned grade levels.
- Design and supervise hands-on laboratory experiences and demonstrations.
- Guide students in scientific research and inquiry-based learning.
- Integrate biblical principles into scientific study, demonstrating harmony between faith and science.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safety procedures.
- Organize and supervise field trips and other science-related activities.
- Collaborate with other secondary teachers.
- Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Science Education or related field or appropriate teaching certification.
- Strong knowledge of scientific principles and lab procedures.
- Ability to articulate the relationship between biblical truth and scientific inquiry.
- Excellent classroom management, communication & organizational skills.
