ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher's license with appropriate endorsement to teach Physics at the high school level (Science

• All endorsements or Physics endorsement) Develop and implement effective lesson plans and curriculum materials Possesses the ability to effectively assess student learning and use results to plan and implement appropriate instruction Integrate technology into classroom instruction to enhance learning Utilize Google Drive for instructional purposes, collaboration, and managing coursework Create and maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment that respects the diverse backgrounds and needs of all students Communicate effectively with strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills Engage and collaborate effectively with parents and families Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to a positive team environment Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Hold a master's degree in Education and/or the specific subject area Possesses endorsement to teach dual enrollment and AP courses

FLSA Status:

Exempt SALARY:

$52,832.35

• $85,613.

64 annually, with benefits; commensurate with experience (salary may change due to 2026-2027 budget considerations)
