Aug 19, 2026 Job Description The Newport City Elementary School seeks a knowledgeable and energetic individual to fill their K-1 Math Interventionist teacher position within its' PK-6 school with approximately 350 students. The position incorporates working directly with students and consulting with teachers concerning assessment results and implementing research and evidence based best practices. Applicants must have the ability to adapt curriculum to accommodate student needs, to address core subject areas using non-traditional methods and be able to view students in terms of their success and help them persevere when there are challenges. Candidates must have or be eligible for appropriate Vermont AOE licensure.
Salary & Benefits:
As per the Teachers' Negotiated Agreement. Salary range between $49,970 and $89,460, based on previous experience.
