) Empowerment Life Services, LLC Mesa, AZ Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification First aid High school diploma or GED Driver's License Working with children First Aid Certification Full Job Description Mesa, AZ 10p-8a (AWAKE Position) Empowerment Life Services, LLC group homes is looking for responsible adults desiring opportunities to help with the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of foster kids, ages 5-17 years old in sibling group homes. The children may have behavioral/mental health issues due to their background of abuse and/or neglect and the goal is to provide a safe and healthy environment.
Responsibilities:
Dispense medications/audit pill counts Teach youth life skills Meal preparation/cooking Paper work/documentation Redirect and de-escalate client behaviors Transport in company van Cleanliness and upkeep of the home Monitor youth sleeping Waking up youth to use restroom if necessary Direct youth on morning routine for school/weekends
Minimum Qualifications:
PASS drug test 21+ years or older High School Diploma or G.E.D. Must possess Fingerprint Clearance Card 1 year experience working with youth CPR/First Aid Certified Valid drivers license, NO DUI, minimal offenses Pass pre-employment physical and physical abilities test Will need TB test and Physical Must be able to lift 50 lbs
