We are seeking a summer instructor to lead a one-week camp in Minecraft Coding and Design Studio. In this camp, students will learn the fundamentals of coding and game design through Minecraft, building problem-solving skills, creativity, and collaboration in a fun, interactive environment. The camp runs from June 15-18. Each class session runs approximately 1.5 hours per day. All lesson plans and materials are provided.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging, age-appropriate classes for a group of approximately 10-15 students.
• Follow provided curriculum and lesson structure.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed environment.
• Encourage student participation and creativity.
• Communicate with program staff regarding daily progress.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, camp counseling, etc.) is preferred.
• No experience with coding needed, but an interest in STEM, technology or games is nice to have.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
