Camp Instructor - Summer Camp 2026 Programming Journeys LLC Chula Vista, CA Job Details Temporary $20 - $24 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Safety protocol adherence Child safety supervision Student safety monitoring Full Job Description About the Role Programming Journeys is looking to hire enthusiastic and energetic Camp Instructors to join our Summer Tech Camp for students ages 8-14. This is a temporary part-time position running from July 6 through July 17, 2026. Immediate Hiring - We are looking to fill these positions as soon as possible.

Pay:

$22/hour

What You'll Do:

Supervise and engage groups of students ages 8-14 Assist instructors during coding, robotics, and STEM activities Help students stay engaged and motivated throughout the day Support classroom management Set up and organize classroom materials and equipment Ensure students have a fun and safe learning experience Communicate professionally with staff and parents when needed

Qualifications:

We're looking for individuals who enjoy working with children and have a positive attitude.

Preferred qualifications include:

Previous experience working with children (summer camps, tutoring, coaching, childcare, youth programs, after-school programs, etc.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, responsible, and punctual Comfortable leading and supervising groups of children Patient, energetic, and enthusiastic Willing to learn basic robotics and coding activities (training provided) No technical or STEM experience is required. Students and professionals from any background are encouraged to apply.
