Duties Lead engaging aerial silks classes for diverse age groups and skill levels, ensuring a fun and motivating atmosphere Demonstrate proper techniques for climbing, wrapping, and descending on aerial silks with safety as the top priority Develop customized lesson plans that cater to beginners and advanced students alike, promoting progression and confidence Monitor student performance closely, providing constructive feedback to improve skills and prevent injuries Enforce safety protocols by inspecting equipment regularly and ensuring proper use during all sessions Foster a supportive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and positive behavior management Collaborate with other instructors to plan special workshops or performances that showcase student progress Requirements Proven experience in aerial silks or similar acrobatic disciplines; certification in aerial arts is preferred Background in sports coaching, gymnastics, climbing, martial arts (such as Judo or Karate), or related physical education fields Prior experience working with children or students in a teaching or childcare setting Strong knowledge of health club or gym safety standards and injury prevention techniques Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of all ages Ability to demonstrate leadership in behavior management and maintain a positive class environment This is an exciting opportunity for passionate fitness professionals eager to share their expertise while inspiring others through the art of aerial silks.
