Classroom Teaching Leadership Teaching Camp Full Job Description Note:

Kids Summer Camp Manager Dogpatch Games is hiring a Kids Summer Camp Manager to lead full weeks of our 2026 Kids Summer Camp program. This is a leadership role for someone who can take ownership of a camp week from start to finish: handling prep and family communication ahead of the week, leading daily camp operations, coordinating camp staff, and helping run strong, engaging programming. Our summer camp serves ages 8-14 and includes a mix of tabletop gaming, with board games as a major part of camp and Dungeons & Dragons as a key afternoon activity. Schedule Camp hours are generally 9:00am-5:00pm Some flexibility may be possible for excellent candidates with slightly different availability Candidates must be available for at least 5 weeks of camp Preference for candidates available for 6 or all 7 weeks Strong candidates also interested in other kids programming work outside of the summer schedule may be considered for additional roles at Dogpatch Games. 2026 Camp Sessions Session 1: June 15-19 Session 2: June 22-26 Session 3: July 13-17 Session 4: July 20-24 Session 5: July 27-31 Session 6: August 3-7 Session 7: August 10-14 Compensation $1,300-$1,500 per week for fully leading a summer camp week, depending on experience What You'll Do Lead full weeks of summer camp from preparation through execution Handle key administrative and family communication tasks leading up to each session Coordinate and help manage other camp staff during the week Lead camp programming, especially board games, and ideally also Dungeons & Dragons Create a positive, structured, and inclusive environment for campers Use good judgment to solve issues that come up with kids, staffing, or parent communication Support setup, cleanup, transitions, and other operational needs throughout the week Ideal Qualifications Classroom teaching experience and/or summer camp leadership experience Comfort leading groups of children and creating a positive group dynamic Strong judgment and problem-solving when challenges come up Comfort with basic administrative systems and logistics A love of board games, tabletop games, and sharing them with young players Especially Strong Candidates May Also Have Experience leading Dungeons & Dragons for kids or teens Experience managing or mentoring other staff Experience with camp scheduling or family communications Ability to adapt programming to different ages, personalities, and experience levels Broad familiarity with modern board games and tabletop gaming What Success Looks Like Campers are engaged, included, and having fun Families feel informed and confident in the program Staff feel supported and clear on responsibilities The camp week runs smoothly, with strong leadership and good pacingSimilar remote jobs
