Surf Instructor

We're looking for motivated, ocean-loving surfers to join our team as surf instructors for weekday and weekend lessons, starting immediately. In the off-season, instructors typically average 5-10 lessons per week. As we head into summer, there are strong opportunities to move into full-time hours. The ideal candidate has a few years of surfing experience and prior teaching or coaching experience. If you're a strong surfer but haven't taught before, we're happy to train the right person. However, candidates with prior experience are preferred for those ready to start teaching immediately. Hours are flexible, with June and July marking our peak season.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead 1.5 to 2-hour surf lessons Help clients get suited up and comfortable with equipment Deliver land-based instruction covering surfing fundamentals and ocean safety Maximize in-water time and ensure a fun, safe experience Our clients range from ages 6 to 70 and come from all over the world. If you enjoy meeting new people and sharing your passion for surfing, you'll fit right in. This position is currently part-time, with opportunities to transition into full-time work starting in June, including teaching or leading sessions at our summer camp.
