Work Location:
In-Person Responsibilities Lead engaging
TECH/STEAM
activities, including coding, robotics, engineering, and hands-on technology projects Provide academic instruction and enrichment in subjects such as Math, Science, English, and Social Studies Create a fun, safe, and positive learning environment for students Support classroom management and student engagement Prepare lesson materials, classroom technology, and activity supplies before each session Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and proper care of equipment and materials Supervise students during program activities and transitions Collaborate with fellow instructors and program staff to ensure a successful camp experience Qualifications Experience working with children in educational, tutoring, camp, or enrichment settings preferred Background in Education, Computer Science, Engineering, STEM, or related fields is a plus Comfortable teaching or assisting with coding, robotics, technology, and/or academic subjects Strong communication and teamwork skills Positive, professional, reliable, and proactive attitude Willingness to assist with classroom setup, preparation, organization, and cleanup duties Must be willing and able to work at sites located in both South San Francisco and Millbrae Preferred Skills Experience with Python, Scratch, JavaScript, LEGO Robotics, or similar technologies Academic tutoring or classroom teaching experience Summer camp, after-school, or enrichment program experience Strong classroom management skills Ability to engage and motivate students of various ages and learning levels Future Opportunities This is a seasonal summer position; however, instructors who demonstrate strong performance, professionalism, flexibility, and reliability may be considered for continued employment and placement in CAM Edu programs during the upcoming school semester.
