0 Lafayette, CO Job Details Temporary | Full-time $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Childcare CPR Certification Teaching Certification First aid Working with children First Aid Certification Full Job Description Funtastic Workshops LLC is looking for an experienced instructor in the Boulder/ Denver area to facilitate in-person (only) summer camp programs in Lafayette, CO in conjunction with the Alexander Dawson School. At Funtastic Workshops , we make enrichment fun with hands-on, engaging activities and lessons. If you are an excellent teacher with patience and a fun, positive attitude, please read more. The Program Instructor will be responsible for creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for campers, managing staff, and ensuring the overall success of the camp. This position will present three weeks of STEAM and Nature-based workshops for children ages 6-12 in a summer camp setting.

Dates and Times Are:

June 15-18 ("week 3"

• 4 day week
• holiday) June 22-26 ("week 4"
• regular 5 day week) 8:15 a.m.
• 4:15 p.m.
• camp starts promptly at 8:30 a.

m. (Plus a brief weekly Program Directors meeting on Monday mornings)

Workshops Include:

• a detailed lesson booklet for all experiments to facilitate each workshop
• necessary supplies
• a classroom space for set up and daily activities
• camp counselors to assist in daily facilitation and supervision
• balanced (delicious) lunch provided daily Who We Are Looking For
• Teachers must be/ have:
• ideally:
• ability to work all 3 weeks (in-person only)
• dependable and punctual
• patience and a positive attitude
• strong communication skills to sensitively communicate information to parents/ guardians
• successful experience with school age children in an educational or recreational setting
• enthusiasm for learning
• ability to attend the mandatory staff trainings
• CPR/First Aid Certified or ability to attend training for 2026 season If you are a current or former certified teacher, with an interest in science/ STEAM/ nature, and patience for kids 6-12, please apply.

Notes:

• You will be provided the materials necessary for this workshop; boxes may be between 5-35 pounds.
• You will not be paid for additional time used for planning and/or set up time.
• Looking to hire someone currently living in the Boulder/ Denver area in Colorado.

No relocation is available for this seasonal position. Preference given to experienced educators certified to teach (elementary or middle) in CO.
