Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Junior Golf Mentor and inspire young players to develop their golfing skills while fostering confidence, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with children in a dynamic environment, combining athletic coaching with educational support. As a Junior Golf Mentor, you will be instrumental in creating a fun, safe, and engaging atmosphere that encourages growth both on and off the course. Responsibilities Lead and supervise youth golf clinics, camps, and lessons, ensuring all activities are fun, safe, and inclusive. Provide personalized coaching through established curriculum tailored to each child's age, skill level, and developmental needs. Maintain a positive environment by managing class behavior and promoting teamwork among young participants. Assist in setting up golf equipment and maintaining the cleanliness of practice areas. Support children's social-emotional development through encouragement and respectful communication. Monitor safety protocols diligently; respond promptly to any first aid needs or emergencies. Collaborate with team members to plan engaging activities that incorporate childhood development principles and sports coaching techniques. Skills Strong classroom management skills to guide children effectively during lessons and activities. Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or early childhood education environments is a plus. Knowledge of behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions among young learners. Ability to deliver basic first aid and handle emergency situations confidently. Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and team members. Passion for sports coaching combined with a nurturing approach rooted in childhood development principles.
