Job Description
Do you know how to Zip line? Calling all motivated and energetic people to come join us in our indoor sensory gym! We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym is an inclusive indoor sensory playground that promotes safe & healthy sensory diets on our equipment in a familiar & calm environment. Our gym is structured around children who have specific sensory issues such as Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, or ADHD but encourages ALL children to come and play together! All Ages & Abilities are welcome! We offer Open Play in the gym 7 days a week with a variety of special events on the weekends and over the holidays! These events include (but are not limited to!): Interactive Story Time, Social Skills Classes, Parents Night Out, Summer Camp, Teen Night, Holiday Camp, Birthday Parties, Private Play Dates, and Fundraisers for local organizations! As a Lead Coach in the Gym, Duties look like:
- Maintaining a SAFE and CLEAN gym at
AT ALL TIMES!
- Greet members as they arrive and build relationships with the children & families
- Using Our POS System to check members in and Selling Membership Packages
- Educate new members of our mission and the benefits of the equipment in the gym
- Plan and organize special events & curriculum
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior among members
- Lead group activities with kids during special events
- Collaborate with other coaches, staff members, and parents to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
Qualifications:
- Self-Driven & Proactive when provided routine duties
- Experience working with students or children in a coaching or childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge and experience in the childcare and/or Autism field
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate children
- Ability to manage behavior and maintain discipline among children
- Physical fitness and ability to demonstrate skills required for the equipment
- Ability to be on your feet and moving throughout most of the day We offer competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications and availability.
Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$14.00- $16.
