Baptist Health Iceplex Job Summary:

Curling Instructors execute and teach curling events under the direction of the Guest Experience Manager and the Lead Curling Instructor, with a goal of providing the best possible customer service experience for all participants and other team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation of ice for league or general play. Pebbling, cleaning, nipping the ice. Assists with set up and breakdown, ensuring all equipment is put in proper placements on and off the ice. Teach basic knowledge of rules, safety, etiquette, and game play. Provide stellar customer service to guests on and off ice. Ensuring that all reports- incident, accident, etc are filled out and turned in. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be availabile for a variety of hours, weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must have strong communication skills, be detailed and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to handle a fast-paced, cold environments and multiple tasks at once. Ability to adapt and work with people of varying ages and abilities.
