School Age, Summer Camp Teacher Abram's Angels Academy Orlando, FL Job Details Full-time $15 - $17 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Childcare Qualifications Team leadership Child behavior management High school diploma or GED Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description About This Role Abram's Angels Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and responsible Summer Camp Teacher to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for school-age children. The Summer Camp Teacher will supervise daily activities, lead educational and recreational experiences, promote positive behavior, and ensure the well-being of all campers. This role requires creativity, teamwork, and a passion for working with children. What You'll Do Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Lead and participate in games, arts and crafts, STEM activities, outdoor play, and special events. Facilitate age-appropriate educational enrichment activities. Build positive relationships with campers, families, and fellow staff members. Encourage teamwork, inclusion, and respectful behavior among campers. Assist with meal, snack, and transition times. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming camp environment. Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations. Communicate any concerns, incidents, or achievements to camp leadership. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with children in a camp, school, daycare, or recreational setting preferred. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to lead groups of children positively and engagingly. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Must pass all required background screenings. Nice To Haves Positive attitude and high energy. Dependable and punctual. Creative and flexible. Strong leadership and teamwork skills. Passion for helping children learn, grow, and have fun.
