This part-time role is ideal for a strong, dependable leader who enjoys working with children in a focused, relationship-based environment. This is not a traditional teaching role. Curriculum, materials, and daily structure are provided. The Lead Guide is responsible for facilitating the day, maintaining structure, and guiding students through hands-on learning, life skills, and independent work. You will play a key role in creating a calm, organized, and "academy-style" environment where students build confidence, independence, and real-world skills. Responsibilities Lead and manage a group of 8-15 students (ages 8-16) throughout the day Facilitate pre-planned sessions (Study Hall, Life Skills, Arts, STEM, PE support) Maintain strong structure, pacing, and smooth transitions between activities Use simple setups to guide instruction and keep students on track Support student independence, focus, and respectful behavior Maintain a clean, organized, and professional classroom environment Communicate clearly with leadership regarding student needs or concerns Skills Strong leadership presence and ability to manage a group independently Highly reliable, structured, and consistent Calm under pressure with solid behavior management instincts Organized and detail-oriented Clear and confident communicator with both students and adults Comfortable guiding learning without over-teaching Preferred (not required): Experience working with children in small-group settings Background in teaching, homeschooling, childcare, or youth programs Experience leading activities, managing groups, or facilitating learning environments

Pay:
