Martial Arts Instructor / Head Instructor Track Turn Your Martial Arts Experience Into a Career That Makes a Difference 1UP Martial Arts is growing, and we're looking for experienced martial artists who are passionate about teaching, leading, and helping the next generation build confidence both on and off the mat. Whether your background is in Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Karate, Taekwondo, MMA, or another striking-based martial art , we'd love to meet you. We're actively looking for candidates who can grow into a Head Instructor role as we continue expanding and prepare for our second location.

You Are:

Experienced in a striking-based martial art Passionate about teaching and mentoring students Comfortable leading groups and commanding a room Positive, energetic, and professional Looking for a long-term opportunity with room for advancement Excited to be part of a growing team and culture

In This Role, You'll:

Lead engaging martial arts classes for children and teens Help students develop confidence, discipline, focus, and resilience Create a positive and energetic training environment Support student progress and belt advancement Assist with special events, workshops, and community outreach Work alongside leadership to continue developing your coaching skills Compensation & Growth $18.00 per hour during training Leadership development and mentorship Opportunity to advance into a Head Instructor position Paid trainings from staff and paid outside coaches Free membership for you and an immediate family member to 1UP Free studio apparel and uniform (Uniform, Shirts, belts) Free summer camps for your children and Studio events entry Career advancement opportunities as we expand Requirements Must be 18 years or older Must pass a criminal background check Previous martial arts experience required Strong communication and leadership skills Reliable, punctual, and coachable Experience teaching or leading groups is a plus, but not required CPR/AED certification is a plus Preferred Martial Arts Backgrounds Boxing Kickboxing Muay Thai Karate Taekwondo MMA Other striking-based disciplines If you're looking for more than just another coaching job and want an opportunity to grow into a leadership role while changing lives through martial arts, we'd love to hear from you.
