Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging chess lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced players Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, strategic thinking, and sportsmanship Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring all students remain focused and motivated throughout sessions Provide personalized tutoring to help students improve specific skills or prepare for competitions Assess student progress regularly and offer constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement Communicate clearly with students and parents about goals, achievements, and areas for development Organize and supervise chess tournaments or club activities to build community engagement and practical experience Skills Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, especially in chess or related strategic games Strong classroom management skills to maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment Excellent communication skills to engage with students of diverse ages and backgrounds Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and skill levels Knowledge of child development principles and experience working with children or adults in educational settings Familiarity with classroom experience, including lesson planning and activity organization Passion for chess combined with the ability to inspire others through clear instruction and mentorship
