ASG has been a staple in the community for over 49 years and has grown in athletes and staff over the last 2 years. Position Overview:

ASG is offering a variety of available positions that will fit your style and highlight your strengths. We offer Junior Camp Counselors(JCC), Camp Instructors, and Lead Camp Instructors during our Summer and Holiday Camps. JCC/ Camp Instructor Responsibilities Be dependable Ability to create a fun and creative environment for your students. Maintain a safe environment Build fans among the camp group. Be flexible in your schedule and work Learn continuously Help your camp team fulfill their responsibilities Contribute to the cleanliness of the gym Be solutions-oriented and proactive Have fun Lead Instructor Responsibilities To maintain all curriculum, handouts, and activity set up for . To supervise JCCs/instructors in a manner that puts the success of the daily camp expectations at the forefront. To manage up by viewing leadership as partners and actively engaging with your management team. To maintain clear safety protocols and verbal instruction for kids and staff daily. Camp Coordinator/Director responsibilities are developed on an individual basis, and are developed organically based on the needs of the specific program and the strengths of the applicant. At Atlanta School of Gymnastics, we're constantly developing our people and placing them where they work best. We are looking for candidates with high energy, who love to learn, a champion mentality, and people who have a passion for child development and building family relationships. Desired Skills and abilities. Ability to assist the program coordinator/manager with duties including but not limited to set-up, clean up ,student management and activity scheduling. Team player, able to offer and accept productive feedback. Lead a group of 10 kids independently in a safe, positive, fun-filled environment using our Camp Guidelines. Excellent verbal communication skills. Strong ability to communicate effectively with management, program participants, parents, coworkers, and community partners. Positive attitude with staff, students, and parents. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Must have the physical capacity to be on your feet throughout full 4-9 hour shifts and the strength required to move camp designated equipment. First Aid and CPR certified, or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Experience and Qualifications JCC:

Willingness to learn and a drive to work with kids.

Camp Instructor:

Some experience with gymnastics, sports, or working with children and a hunger to learn gymnastics progressions. Ability to work morning and/or afternoons.

Lead Instructor:

A year or more of recreational gymnastics coaching experience, or 2 years or more of camp instructor experience is required. Ability to work full days. Minimum of 3 days/week Reliable and accountable.

Management:

3 years or more of gymnastics coaching experience, or 5 years of teaching/youth instruction outside of sports facility. Managerial experience is required.
