Aquatic programs play an integral role in the student experience. The philosophy of Punahou's Aquatics Department is to encourage student athletes, within the framework of the educational mission of the school, to be the best that they can be both in and out of the pool. The various programs provide instruction and competition for all levels of ability: from entry-level to college
  • and Olympic-level athletes.
Punahou Aquatics is seeking an Aquatic Instructor (Aquatics Specialist I). The ideal candidate will work with students ranging from 6-15 years old that are in the developmental phase of the sport. The position will require mornings and/or afternoon classes during the week as well as the possibility of working weekends.

  • 4:30 PM, Saturday 9:15 AM
  • 12:15 PM, Schedule may vary based on operational needs
Hourly Rate:
$35.00/
Hour Minimum Qualifications:
High school Diploma or GED. One (1) year of recent experience working with youth preferred. Water Safety Instructor certification and/or equivalent experience. Have/be willing to obtain necessary certifications: CPR/AED and First Aid, Lifeguarding from American Red Cross. Leadership experience preferred. Positive, energetic and team oriented.
