Gymnastics/Tumbling Instructor Sunset Community Center/Administrative Offices - Geneva, IL 60134 Apply Overview Salary Range $16.00 - $18.00 Hourly Position Type Part Time Apply Description We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic coach to join our Xcel gymnastics program. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience coaching women's Xcel Silver and Gold levels.

Responsibilities:
Coach and develop athletes in the Xcel Silver and Gold programs Instruct participants in the fundamentals, techniques, and safety of gymnastics and tumbling Foster a positive and encouraging training environment If you're passionate about gymnastics and enjoy helping young athletes grow in skill and confidence, we'd love to hear from you!
Qualifications Qualifications:
The Gymnastics/Tumbling Instructor must have experience in gymnastics/tumbling and teaching or childcare.
Essential Functions:
Maintain current CPR and Standard First Aid certifications. Work with the Gymnastics/Tumbling Head Coach in designing each session program. Prepare daily lesson plans. Inform the Athletic Supervisor of any pertinent matters as they relate to scheduling, gym usage, etc. Make decisions regarding the placement of gymnasts in each program level. Work closely with participants to ensure safety. Motivate participants to achieve higher levels in the gymnastics program. Become a
NYSCA/ASEP
certified coach (if applicable). Administer First Aid according to the Park District's Communicable Disease Policy. Understand the Park District's safety procedures and requirements. This includes completion and follow-through on all accident reports, emergency safety procedures, reporting of hazardous equipment, facilities, or conditions and the conduct of any employees under their supervision. Report all incidents and potential hazards to the safety committee as soon as possible.
