Seasonal Overview:
The Swim Lesson Instructor is a part-time position located at the Civic Center Aquatic Park, 5 Ashlawn Avenue, or Winrock Pool, 21 Winrock Rd, Montgomery, IL. The Swim Instructor reports to the Lesson Manager, who reports to the Aquatics Coordinator. The Swim Instructor is responsible for the safety and instruction of swimming to participants of all ages and skill levels.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Significant involvement in swimming instruction and record keeping for those classes. Significant involvement in communicating with, but not limited to parents, children, and park district staff. Some involvement in the prioritizing of job assignments. Some involvement in keeping swim lesson equipment, supplies and pool area clean. Other duties as assigned.Skills and Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years old. Understand and exhibit behavior consistent with the stated values of the Park District. Possess effective communication skills. Wear sun protection while working outdoors. Ability to work as part of a team.Benefits:
