Derby, KS Job Details Full-time $30,000 - $60,000 a year 21 hours ago Benefits Paid housing Qualifications Horse care Equine experience Teaching Full Job Description Equine Riding Instructor We are seeking an instructor with a genuine passion for horses, people, and teaching. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge, takes pride in horse care, and is committed to helping both horses and riders succeed.
Responsibilities include:
Managing an average of 15 lesson horses Teaching riding lessons Assisting with daily horse care, including feeding, grooming, medications, clipping, leg wrapping, and general health care Schooling and exercising horses Maintaining the facility and assisting with barn operations Organizing clinics, in-house horse shows, and customer activities Packing and preparing horses and equipment for horse shows Scheduling lessons and activities, making phone calls, and performing basic bookkeeping tasks We teach Saddle Seat, Hunt Seat, and Western riding, with a specialty in Morgan horses. Experience in all disciplines is not required, but applicants should be proficient in at least one and be willing to learn. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, organized, and enjoys spending time in the saddle. A strong work ethic, excellent horsemanship, and the ability to work well with both horses and people are essential.

Salary plus commission On-site housing may be available
