Job Description

Part-Time Chess Teacher/Coach (After-School Program) Best Brains Learning Center - Frederick Best Brains Learning Center is hiring an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Chess Teacher to work with students ages 6-14 in a structured and engaging learning environment. This is a teaching-focused role where the instructor will have the opportunity to design and deliver age-appropriate chess lessons based on students' skill levels and learning needs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about chess and enjoys helping students develop strategic thinking, focus, and confidence. Tuesday:
5:00 PM - 6:30
PM Saturday:
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM Qualifications Enjoy working with children ages 6-14 Strong knowledge of chess rules and basic strategy Patient, energetic, and reliable Strong communication and classroom management skills Prior teaching, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring experience is a plus, but not required Competitive chess experience is welcomed but not required Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
