Summer Enrichment Instructors L!FE Leaders Detroit, MI Job Details Part-time | Contract $20•$25 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Public K-12 school experience Restorative practices in classroom management Engaging lesson design (student motivation techniques) Working with high schoolers Public school experience Working with children Teaching experience with students with various learning styles Safety protocol implementation Full Job Description Job Summary L!FE Leaders, Inc. is seeking passionate, engaging Summer Enrichment Instructors to support our Summer Enrichment Program for rising 9th and 10th-grade students at a variety of site locations (see list of locations below). The Summer Enrichment Instructors will lead creative activities, enrichment experiences, and hands-on programming designed to engage and inspire youth. Opportunities available for half-day and full-day teaching roles depending upon level of experience•details will be discussed on the interview. Responsibilities Deliver dynamic, age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards to engage students effectively. Support students' social-emotional development by creating an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere. Assess student progress regularly through observations and assessments, providing feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to deliver innovative instructional strategies and activities. Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and student performance throughout the summer program. Uphold safety protocols and ensure a respectful, positive environment conducive to learning. Ideal Candidates for all these roles: Teachers or teachers in training (certified and non-certified) College Students Youth development professionals Organized and creative leaders Individuals passionate about working with youth Theater Experience (preferred but not required) Detroit locations available:

Pay:
$20.00•$25.00 per hour Application Question(s): Rate your comfort level from 1 to 5 with classroom management. 1 = not confident and 5 = extremely confident. Do you have experience in performing arts and/or theater (Preferred for Facilitator role, but not required)? Rate your comfort level supporting diverse learner needs from 1 to 5. 1 = Not Comfortable 5 = Very Comfortable. Do you have experience working with youth? If so, please explain. How many years of teaching experience do you have? (if applicable)
