Job Description

Gymnastics Assistants help coach youth gymnastics lessons and assist in maintaining a safe en vir onment for participants. Assist gymnastics instructors and coordinator with implementation of youth gymnastics program curriculum. Participate in mandatory trainings; workshops; and meetings Provide a safe environment for participants; follow safety guidelines and respond effectively in emergencies. Be familiar with gymnastics teaching methods; skills; drills; and games. Demonstrate skills for participants and provide feedback on skills. Maintain a positive relationship with and effectively communicate with co-workers. Properly set up and take down gymnastics equipment. Maintain a professional appearance and communicate with patrons and parents in a professional manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Be at least 14 years of age and successfully complete the New Brighton Gymnastics Junior Coach Program or equivalent.
FA/CPR/AED
Certification within six months of hire
