About The Position We are looking for a high-energy, positive, and enthusiastic Recreational Coach & Athlete Experience Specialist to help create amazing experiences for our athletes and families. You'll lead recreational tumbling classes and other recreational programs while helping athletes discover new opportunities throughout the gym. Curriculum and lesson plans are provided, but we're looking for coaches who do more than simply teach skills. We want team members who genuinely care about each athlete, celebrate progress, build relationships with families, create excitement, and help make Rampage Athletics a place families can't stop talking about. What You'll Do Coach Amazing Classes Lead recreational tumbling and other recreational programs Follow and deliver our established curriculum Teach skills safely and effectively Create a fun, positive, and engaging class environment Help athletes build confidence while developing new skills Meet athletes where they are and help them reach their next goal Build Relationships With Families Welcome athletes and parents each week Provide feedback on athlete progress Celebrate wins and milestones Answer parent questions Create a positive and professional experience for every family Help Athletes Find Their Next Step Many athletes begin in a recreational class before discovering a love for cheer, dance, camps, clinics, private lessons, and other programs. As part of this role, you'll help guide families through those opportunities by recommending programs that best fit their athlete's goals and interests. You'll play an important role in helping athletes continue their journey at Rampage Athletics. Create Excitement Around The Gym Capture photos and videos during classes Create and post social media stories at the end of each shift Showcase athlete achievements and the fun happening at Rampage Athletics Help create an experience families are excited to share with others Be A Great Teammate Participate in monthly staff meetings Communicate effectively with fellow coaches and leadership Contribute ideas that improve the athlete experience Support the overall growth and success of the gym Live and promote our Family First culture What We're Looking For Must Have A genuine love for working with children High energy and a positive attitude Strong communication skills Ability to connect with athletes and parents Dependability and professionalism A willingness to learn and grow A team-first mindset Exceptional customer service skills Comfort talking with families about programs and opportunities A desire to help athletes succeed both on and off the mat Preferred Experience Tumbling, gymnastics, cheer, dance, or sports coaching experience Childcare, education, camp, or youth program experience Customer service or sales experience Social media experience Experience is great, but passion, energy, and a love for helping kids succeed matter most. Schedule Requirements Regular Coaching Hours Monday - Thursday 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Weekend Availability Required Our athletes and families enjoy special experiences throughout the year, and coaches play a huge role in making those experiences possible. Coaches must be available to support weekend programming including: Birthday Parties Summer Camps Clinics Open Gyms Community Events Team Events Special Rampage Experiences Weekend hours will vary based on programming and event schedules. Monthly Staff Meetings One staff meeting per month: Friday evenings from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM OR Sunday meetings as scheduled Growth Opportunity This position will typically begin with a limited number of coaching hours each week.
