Summer Youth Care Worker

Our Mission:

To provide a safe, caring, and fun environment, for youth to learn, grow, and prepare for a great future We are looking for high-energy individuals to work with elementary age youth attending the Boys & Girls Clubs locations in Fargo. Our staff is vital to the safety, development, and growth of the youth in our program. BGC kids have so much fun, and so can you! We offer flexible morning and afternoon schedules with no nights or weekends.

Primary responsibilities:

Communicate effectively with youth, parents, supervisors, and peers Supervise and interact with youth Implement curriculum plans as directed, including indoor & outdoor activities, sports, STEM, art activities, and more! Play games, assist with projects, homework, etc Demonstrate good role-modeling to youth

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Childcare:

1 year (Preferred) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Passion for childhood development and creating a positive learning environment First Aid Certification (Preferred) CPR Certification (Preferred) If you are ready to get paid to feel like a kid again while making a meaningful impact on young lives, we would love to hear from you! We provide youth a safe place to learn and grow, ongoing relationships with caring mentors, life enhancing programs, character development, hope, and opportunity. Youth development activities are based on Academic Success, Character & Leadership, and Healthy Lifestyles.
