Job Description

Swim Lesson Moorestown - Moorestown, NJ 08057 Apply Overview Salary Range $16.00 - $18.00 Hourly Apply Description Swim Instructor Teach. Inspire. Build confidence in the water. Teach swimming at Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness! We have eager students of all ages ready to learn year-round in our aquatics center. Are you ready to dive into a role you love? Join our team and share your passion for swimming while helping others build confidence, safety, and lifelong skills in the water.
Responsibilities:
Teach both group and private swim lessons for all age levels Provide individualized instruction with a focus on safety, technique, and progression Develop and follow structured lesson plans including drills and skill progression Assess each swimmer's comfort level and adapt instruction accordingly Build confidence in beginner and fearful swimmers through patience and encouragement Ensure a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment at all times Communicate effectively with students and parents/guardians Know students by name and foster strong relationships Follow all Healthtrax Aquatics and Safety Standard Operating Procedures Maintain constant supervision — never leave any student unattended in or around the water
Qualifications Qualifications:
Current Swim Instructor certification (or equivalent experience) CPR/AED and water safety certifications required Minimum 1 year of swim instruction experience preferred Experience teaching children and/or adults at beginner levels Strong ability to assess skill level and adjust instruction Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patient, positive, and safety-focused mindset
