Martial Arts Instructor

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Martial Arts Instructor to inspire and guide students of all ages in developing their martial arts skills, confidence, and discipline. In this role, you will lead engaging classes in various martial arts disciplines, including Karate, Judo, and other combat sports, while fostering a positive environment that encourages personal growth and physical fitness. Responsibilities Conduct engaging martial arts classes for children, teens, and adults across different skill levels Develop customized training plans that align with students' goals and abilities Teach fundamental techniques in Karate, Judo, and other martial arts disciplines with clarity and enthusiasm Promote proper behavior management to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment Incorporate physical education principles such as swimming, climbing, or cheerleading into training routines when appropriate Monitor student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper use of equipment and facilities Requirements Proven experience in martial arts instruction, particularly in Karate or Judo; Lifeguard experience or sports coaching background is a plus Strong teaching skills with the ability to work effectively with students of diverse ages and backgrounds Knowledge of behavior management strategies to maintain discipline and focus during classes Experience working with children or in childcare settings preferred Ability to demonstrate physical skills such as swimming, climbing, or cheerleading when applicable Certification or training in health club or gym environments is advantageous Enthusiasm for promoting physical activity, fitness, and healthy lifestyles through engaging instruction Join us as a Martial Arts Instructor and become a vital part of our vibrant community dedicated to empowering individuals through movement!
