This paid position offers the opportunity to teach both kids and adult classes, fostering discipline, confidence, and physical fitness. As an instructor, you'll create a positive learning environment, motivate students to reach their personal best, and promote healthy habits through martial arts training. Your energy and passion will help cultivate a community where everyone feels motivated to grow and succeed. Responsibilities Lead engaging martial arts classes for children and adults, tailoring instruction to various skill levels and age groups Demonstrate techniques in disciplines such as Karate, Judo, or other martial arts styles with clarity and enthusiasm Develop lesson plans that incorporate fundamental skills, behavior management, and safety protocols Foster a supportive environment that encourages respect, discipline, and teamwork among students Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and motivate learners to achieve their goals Ensure safety standards are maintained during all classes by supervising activities closely and managing behavior effectively Collaborate with other instructors and staff to organize special events or workshops that promote martial arts education Qualifications Proven experience in martial arts such as Karate, Judo, or similar disciplines; certification is a plus Prior experience working with children and adults in teaching or coaching roles Strong background in physical education, sports coaching, or childcare environments Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere Ability to demonstrate skills in swimming, climbing, cheerleading or basketball is advantageous but not required Lifeguard experience is beneficial for safety oversight during water-related activities or programs involving swimming Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse age groups and skill levels Join us in making a lasting impact by teaching martial arts that inspire confidence, discipline, and health!
