Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a responsible and energetic Summer Camp Assistant Teacher to join our team for the summer season. This position will support the Lead Teacher in supervising school-age children, assisting with daily activities, and helping during field trips. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is dependable, and helps create a fun and safe summer camp environment. Duties Assist the Lead Teacher with daily camp activities and schedules Help supervise school-age children during indoor and outdoor activities Support the Lead Teacher with games, crafts, and group activities Accompany campers on field trips and help ensure their safety at all times Maintain active supervision and assist with behavior guidance Help prepare and clean up materials for activities and meals Follow all childcare licensing regulations and center policies Work as part of a team to create a positive and engaging camp experience for children Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with children preferred Reliable, responsible, and able to work as part of a team Strong communication and supervision skills Ability to pass background check and meet state licensing requirements Join our team to create an energetic summer environment filled with learning adventures!
