Youth Director - Camp Ministry

Job Summary Trinity Lutheran Church of Minnehaha Falls is an LCMC congregation located in south Minneapolis. Our church's mission is to be a "Community of Good News proclaiming and practicing the way of Jesus among our neighbors and the nations." Our summer camp is held at Camp Patmos, located in Hackensack, MN. This Youth Ministry role is responsible for the planning, programming, staffing, and implementation of Trinity's youth summer camp ministry.

Desired qualifications include:

A follower of Jesus who knows they are saved by His grace and has experienced the life changing value of a camp experience for youth. A minimum of 3 years previous experience planning youth events, ideally with experience in camp ministry. Preferred experience will include programming, marketing events, recruiting and training volunteers, and providing high quality experiences for students. Strong relationship building, organizational and communication skills are critical. The hours for this role are anticipated to be approximately 20 hours per week when averaged over a calendar year. The hours vary per week given the seasonal nature of a summer camp ministry (i.e., there is significant time at camp during the weeks of summer camp).
