Monday-Friday | Daytime Hours Only•No Late Evenings or Weekends!

Position Overview:

PA Kids is hiring dependable and energetic Summer Camp Assistant (Float) to support our Lead Teachers, assist in classrooms, and help facilitate a fun, safe summer experience for students. This is the perfect role for high schoolers, recent graduates, or anyone who enjoys working with kids and wants to build real-world experience in a professional, upbeat setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in classrooms with daily activities, crafts, games, and supervision Provide support during field trips and transitions throughout the day Cover breaks for Lead Teachers (lunch/restroom coverage) Step in as a substitute for Lead Teachers when needed (training provided) Help with basic custodial tasks like tidying, restocking, and organizing materials Retrieve classroom supplies and help with activity setup/cleanup Model safe, respectful behavior and contribute to a positive camp culture

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required (or working toward one) Experience working with children is a plus, but not required Ability to adapt quickly and be flexible in a dynamic camp setting Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain before start date) •Be sure to include resume as well•
