  • $60K per year About Us Professional Blackbelt Academy provides premier martial arts instruction in North Texas.
Our programs focus on Taekwondo, American Karate, Jiu-Jitsu, and Kickboxing while helping students of all ages build confidence, discipline, respect, and physical fitness. Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong Taekwondo background, along with additional experience in disciplines such as Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, or Kickboxing. This role involves leading classes, mentoring students, supporting academy growth, and fostering a positive, disciplined learning environment. Responsibilities Lead martial arts classes for students of varying ages and skill levels. Use established curriculum to develop engaging training programs and lesson plans for all ages Provide individualized instruction, mentorship, and feedback to students. Ensure student safety and maintain a positive training atmosphere. Support student enrollment efforts and help build strong relationships with students and families. Promote the core values of discipline, respect, perseverance, and confidence. Positively represent the academy through professionalism, communication, and community engagement. Qualifications Black Belt in Taekwondo and/or Karate required. Experience in Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing, or related disciplines preferred. Previous teaching, coaching, or instructional experience strongly preferred. Sales experience and a background in social media marketing are preferred Must pass a required background check and meet insurance/driving eligibility requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to support academy growth through relationship building, student retention, and community presence. Schedule:
Monday through Friday primarily afternoon and evening hours with occasional daytime availability required.
