Summer Camp Teachers

Kids Co. is hiring part-time teachers for local day camps at multiple locations this summer. We are looking for energetic, creative, responsible individuals who enjoy hands on, kid-focused activities. Work starts in mid-June and runs through the end of August. Summer camps run from 8a - 5p, Monday - Friday. Each week will explore new themes and activities with the kids. The typical schedule for a teacher is 4-5 hours per day except days with field trips (which entail more hours). Come join the fun and help make a positive difference in the lives of kids!

Responsibilities include:

Creating a fun and safe environment that inspires curiosity and play. Engaging with students in a caring and nurturing manner - be a positive adult role model for kids. Supervising indoor and outdoor play Ensure the health and safety of students. Assist in cleaning the classroom each day. Preparing and serving healthy snacks. Following Kids Co. policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention, and emergency procedures, etc

Hiring Locations:

Northgate Rainier Beach Wallingford/Green Lake Pay rate: $21.30-$24.00/hr. depending on experience and education. Why Kids Co.? Have prior experience working with kids (paid or volunteering). Able to work Monday through Friday during the summer. Enjoy helping kids grow and develop. All offers are contingent on passing a TB test, providing MMR vaccination records, and passing the state portable criminal background check.
