Role Overview:

As a Summer Camp Assistant, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional learning experience for campers ranging from 3-12th grade. You will support the preparation and facilitation of

STEM & CTE

activities and workshops, ensuring safe and engaging environment for all camp participants.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the organization and delivery of daily STEM and CTE activities, including setup and cleanup. Guide small group interactions and offer individual support to campers as necessary. Ensure camper adherence to camp rules and safety guidelines. Work collaboratively with the camp team to review and refine programming for optimal engagement and educational impact. Contribute feedback to camp coordinators regarding camper engagement and progress. Engage in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Availability to work Monday through

Thursday Desired Qualifications:

Background in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) or CTE (Career and Technical Education) highly preferred. Prior experience with children in an educational or camp setting. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.

Compensation:

$20.55/hour

Hours and Terms of Employment:

This is a temporary position from June 2, 2026- June 25, 2026, with required hours Monday-Thursday 8:00am-1:00pm. Required Documents for
