Successful applicants must complete the summer preparations detailed below:
Summer Preparation Schedule:
Professional Learning Day 07/01/2026 Prep Day 07/02/2026 07/06-07/30/2026 4 Days a Week Monday•Thursday Closeout Day 07/31/2026 as needed 7:45 am•3:15 pm
Important:
must be available to work the full summer contract; no exceptions for vacations or attending summer staff development.
Salary Range:
2026-27 salary schedule (hourly rate)
Putnam County Schools Professional Annual Salary Job Description:
The Foundational Skills teacher(s) will deliver lessons based on early learning foundational skills in reading and math through whole group and center activities. The teacher will work with a maximum of 15 predetermined children that will enter first, second or third grade in August. Students exiting third grade may attend by principal recommendation if enrollment allows.
