Responsibilities Lead structured swim lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring clear instruction and safety at all times Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety protocols to students of varying abilities Foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere that motivates students to improve their skills and build confidence in the water Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs Enforce safety rules diligently, including lifeguard responsibilities when applicable, to prevent accidents and respond effectively to emergencies Maintain clean and organized lesson areas, ensuring all equipment is safe and properly stored Collaborate with team members to develop innovative lesson plans that incorporate sports coaching elements such as basketball drills or martial arts-inspired movements when appropriate Experience Prior experience in lifeguarding or water safety supervision is highly desirable Experience working with children or in childcare settings demonstrates your ability to manage behavior effectively Knowledge of swimming techniques supports versatile teaching skills Proven ability to manage behavior positively while maintaining a safe environment is essential Certifications in lifeguarding, first aid, or CPR are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is encouraged Join us as a Swim Lesson Instructor and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to promoting health, safety, and aquatic skills!
