Job Description
Summary of Position Teaches undergraduate public health courses in a fully remote online learning environment. Deliver high-quality instruction that promotes student engagement, academic success, and achievement of course learning outcomes. Responsibilities include facilitating online coursework, assessing student performance, maintaining regular communication with students, and supporting a diverse student population through inclusive and student-centered teaching practices. Position Information Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Work Schedule:
Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments may be remote or at various locations.

Minimum Qualifications:
An earned master's degree in public health (MPH), or in an equivalent related field from an accredited institution; evidence of demonstrated professional experience in public health, community health, health education, population health, healthcare, or equivalent related field; must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Public Health (DrPH or PhD), or a closely related field. Prior teaching experience in higher education, particularly at the undergraduate level. Experience with online, hybrid, and/or technology-enhanced instruction.
Physical Requirements:
In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this position will perform sedentary work.
Sedentary:
work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs may be defined as Sedentary when walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other Sedentary criteria aremet.
