General Educational Description Springfield College invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions within the Core Program to teach Springfield College Seminar (SCSM 101) for Fall 2026. We are currently accepting applications to teach one or more 3 credit face-to-face sections of this first-year experience course required of all first-time first-year student on our residential campus. Compensation for adjunct faculty with fewer than 3 years college teaching experience is $2820 for a 3-credit course Compensation for adjunct faculty with 3 or more years college teaching experience is $3513 for a 3-credit course. Responsibilities This course introduces the Core Curriculum, college life, and the institution's distinct Humanics philosophy of educating the spirit, mind, and body. Qualifications Required qualifications include a Master's degree and evidence of prior teaching experience. Preferred qualifications include a PhD in any discipline and evidence of excellent college-level teaching.
